In 1927-28 Frank Lloyd Wright designed a series of covers for Liberty Magazine that were never used. To create the stylized picture of a May Basket used on this Exacompta Nostalgie Journal he used the tools of an architect - a T-square, triangle and a compass. These geometric shapes represented fruits, flowers and streamers of ribbon. This journal's flexible, leather-like tan colored cover is saddle stitched and embossed with a brown design. Contains 190 sheets of 80g Clairefontaine paper which is known as the best paper in the world for writing. These journals are sewn and bound so they open flat and the pages will not fall out.
